Armenian Minister of Finance Davit Sargsyan said today that Armenia's debt load is not dangerous.

The ratio of Armenia's foreign debt to GDP makes 37% and the ratio of the total debt to GDP - 44%,  he said.

"The debt load would have been considered dangerous if the ratio of the total debt to GDP made 50% and as a result the state budget deficit wouldn't be able to exceed 3% starting next year", the Minister explained.

Davit Sargsyan added that the state budget deficit is less than 3% this year and the deficit is forecasted at the rate of 2.3% next year.
