Converse Bank was founded in 1993 and operates on the basis of License No. 57 issued by the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia.

The Bank provides universal banking services, placing particular emphasis on the delivery and development of retail banking services. In addition to its branch network, the Bank offers services through Converse Mobile, Internet Banking, as well as various online payment platforms.

The Bank is a full member of the SWIFT payment and settlement system and the VISA international card payment system, a founding member of the local ArCa card payment system, and an affiliated member of the MasterCard international payment system. It cooperates with the MoneyGram, UBPA, and China UnionPay payment systems, and issues and services UnionPay payment cards.

The Bank is a government debt management agent in the market of short-, medium-, and long-term treasury coupon bonds of the Republic of Armenia, a member of the Armenia Securities Exchange, and a member of the Tabadul Exchange Hub/ADX.

It is a member and account operator of the unified clearing and settlement system of "Central Depository of Armenia" OJSC.

Converse Bank has 33 branches, 16 of which are located in Yerevan, as well as 104 ATMs and 130 payment terminals throughout Armenia.

The shareholders of Converse Bank CJSC are: Advanced Global Investments LLC (72.89%), HayPost Trust Management S.A.R.L. (22.11%), and the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church (5%).

As of October 31, 2025, the Bank employs 933 staff members.
