As of July 2013, inflation in Armenia made 8.5% as compared to the same month of 2012 (June index - 6.5%) and in January-July 2013, consumer prices in Armenia grew by 4.7% against the same period of 2012 (in January - June - 4.1%).In January - June 2013, growth in prices for consumer goods, food items and nonfoods made 5.2% against the same period of 2012, and prices for service increased by 3.4%, Mediamax reports quoting National Statistical Service of Armenia.8.6% growth of prices for consumer goods, 10% -food items, 4.3% -nonfoods and 8.4% increase in service tariffs was registered in July 2013 against July 2012. In July 2013 as compared to June 2013, the level of consumer prices in Armenia fell by 0.4%.
