"CIS Macromonitor"  published by Research Department of the Eurasian Development Bank gives favorable forecast to Armenian economy.

As of 2012, the Armenian economy grew in real terms by 7.2%. The growth of industrial production volumes made 8.8%, agriculture - 9.5%, trade - 3.6% and service sector - 10.8%.

"The high growth is explained by resumption of inner consumer demand, external demand to exported metals and weather conditions favorable to agriculture. If the industry and export growth maintains the high rates in the first quarter of 2013, the country's economy will have structural improvements", the EDB analysts note.
