Yerevan/Mediamax/. The Armenian Development Bank opened a branch in Gyumri at 73/3 Gorki Str.As the press service of the bank informed Mediamax, “Gyumri” branch became the third one opened this year (after “Vanadzor” and “Artsakh” branches).“The banks’ financial results for the first half year of 2011 allowed us providing banking services not only in the capital but in other large cities of the country as well, including Artsakh. The economy of Armenia’s second city- Gyumri, as well as the whole Shirak region, needs more favorable conditions today. By opening “Gyumri” branch, the bank is going to facilitate the economic activation of the region, which is located far from the capital and hasn’t fully overcome the social-economic consequences of the earthquake, thus bolstering the development of small and medium entrepreneurship,” Chairman of the Board of the Armenian Development Bank, Karen Sargsyan, said.
