Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian Minister of Transport and Communication Manuk Vardanyan presented the implementation process of “North-South” railroad and highway corridor construction project to Asian Development Bank (ADB) Executive Director Ashok Lahiri in Yerevan today.

Mediamax was informed in the press service of Armenian Ministry of Transport and Communication that a tender has already been announced for reconstruction of Yerevan-Ashtarak highway, and the corresponding agreement will be signed by a construction company by the end of the year.

The total cost of North-South highway construction makes USD 1bln 453mln, 500mln of which will be provided by Asian Development Bank (ADB) by individual tranches by the order of multifunctional financing.
