Yerevan/Mediamax/.  “Ameriabank” and “Cascade Bank” signed an agreement on merger in Yerevan today.

Mediamax reports that it was announced at a news conference in Yerevan today that the merger took place “on market conditions”.

As of the end of 2009, the consolidated capital of two banks made $75mln, the assets - $397mln, liabilities - $262mln, the credit portfolio - $179mln.

The new bank will carry the name “Ameriabank”.
