In the course of the recent 12 months, the deposit base of the banking system of Azerbaijan grew for 63%, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Bank of Azerbaijan (NBA) Rufat Aslanli stated.

Mediamax reports referring Trend that as of June 1 of 2008, the volume of deposits of legal entities and individuals in the banks made 3857,8mln manats, of which 1 603,3mln manats fall on the share of the population’s deposits.
