Yerevan /Mediamax/. Using the lines of “ArmenTel”, Armenian providers will not## be able to offer same low tariffs as the operator itself.

Mediamax reports that the PR-Manager of “VimpelCom” Company Artem Minayev said this today, commenting on the request of RBK daily on the discords between certain Armenian providers and “ArmenTel” Company. The providers, in particular, demand “ArmenTel” to give them opportunity to use its infrastructure and provide them access to the so-called “last mile”.

According to Artem Minayev, the access to the “last mile” for the competitors of “ArmenTel” is not closed at all, and the prices for traffic, which the Company sells to legal entities, are dictated by economic expediency.

“If they do not like our tariffs, they can use alternative channels”, “VimpelCom” representative stated, adding that the Armenian providers “just do not want to build their own lines and one does not know why they demand us to provide them cheap traffic”.
