Now, Upay users can scan and pay using the Idram QR code available at more than 22,500 points of sale through their applications. At a press conference held on September 23, Idram announced the opening of its QR infrastructure. On the same day, it was revealed that Upay has joined the Open QR system. Arsen Kdenyan, CEO of Idram, opened the press conference by welcoming the partners who have already joined the infrastructure. He shared that negotiations are ongoing with other financial system representatives, who will soon have the opportunity to join Idram's open QR. "This initiative benefits financial organizations by providing their users and customers with an alternative payment option at over 22,500 points of sale. Furthermore, users of these organizations can make contactless QR payments without needing to download additional applications," noted Arsen Kdenyan."We are pleased to join this initiative from Idram, considering our strategy focused on continuously enhancing the user experience with the Upay e-wallet. Cooperation agreements were signed with these companies, marking their integration into the open QR system.
