Yerevan, January 30 /Mediamax/. Starting from today, a “helpline” is functioning in the State Tax Service (STS).

As Mediamax was told in the press service of STS, the citizens may ask the question of interest for them by calling 53-62-91 on workdays starting from 09:00 up to 17:00.

The press service noted that the given action aims at the increase of transparency of the STS work “taking into account the fact that recently the tax bodies became an object of political speculations and publications on toughening the tax administration and changes in the tax legislation, containing misinformation, appear in the media”.

The press service noted that the implementation of the “helpline” “will give an opportunity to operatively and professionally address the inquiries of the tax-payers, prevent speculations”.
