U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Richard Mills said today that U.S. Embassy saw investment opportunities for American companies in the sector of clean energy in Armenia. Ruchard Mills told this at a day-long conference on the development of renewable energy, held today in Yerevan. According to U.S. Ambassador, clean renewable energy is an increasing part of Armenia’s energy sector. “Armenia and its energy sector have grown so much over the last 25 years. I am excited to think about what the next 25 years will bring, knowing that it will be developed through partnerships started here today,” U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Richard Mills remarked. The one-day conference was designed to strengthen cooperation between the U.S. and Armenia in this sector and introduce Armenian companies to the expertise and technology for clean energy and smart electric grid development. The event was organized by U.S. Embassy in Yerevan, in partnership with the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources and Contour Global.
