Armenia has been involved in the European Union new Generalized System of Preferences (GSP+) phase from January 1, 2014.Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia Garegin Melkonyan told journalists today that the system allows more than 6000 goods of Armenian production to export to the EU within zeroized or discounted tax duties, Mediamax reports.The EU entitled only 10 countries - including Armenia and Georgia- to use the regime."Unlike GSP, the system is more flexible and is granted by the EU to restricted number of countries which meet certain criteria", said Garegin Melkonyan.
