The Georgian government takes up additional measures to prevent unauthorized penetration of Iranian companies into the Georgian banking sector. Chairman of National Bank of Georgia Giorgi Kadagidze said this today, Trend reports.According to him, due to the sanctions against Iran, issues related to Iranian investors are considered in more detail."For instance, National Bank of Georgia failed the attempts of several Iranian banks and individuals connected to the Iranian authorities to enter the Georgian banking sector", said Kadagidze.According to him, the National Bank is going to study the situation around "Investbank" which is currently controlled by Iranian investors.
