The Armenian government approved the conception of liberation of air transportation in Armenia today. Head of the General Department of Civil Aviation Artyom Movsisyan informed that the liberation of air transportation will be carried out in a phased approach, Mediamax reports.According to him, the government attaches importance to the idea of national carrier ruling out "state protection". "Over this month, we will already announce a relevant contest, three flight destinations will be determined and as a result, three Armenian companies will be selected", he said. The winners of the contest will be given the permission to start operation for a period of up to 5 years.Artyom Movsisyan added that the unemployed formed staff of "Armavia" air company will be recruited by the new companies.He also said that Armenia starts full liberation policy with the European Union."The EU made a proposal to discuss the idea of common aviation zone.
