"ACBA Leasing" CJSC, the first leasing company in Armenia, marks its 10th anniversary today.

The company is set up by ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK and French Credit Agricole Group.

"Over the 10 years of its activity, the company managed to be involved in all the economic fields of Armenia and providing various equipment on financial lease, it has its considerable contribution to the development of these spheres", General Manager of ACBA Leasing Stepan Gishyan said this at a press conference devoted to the company's anniversary.

According to him, over the company's operation, the assets increased 100-fold (over AMD11bln), capital increased 3-fold and the company currently has about 10 thousand license agreements (the credit portfolio is about AMD9bln). As of 2013, ACGA Leasing income has made AMD1.7bln.

While operating in Armenia, the company realized leasing of agricultural equipment, transport, medical equipment and metal-mining machines and it has realized real estate leasing since 2011.

Head of the International Retail and Trade Lending of Credit Agricole Leasing and Factoring Marc Oppenheim who took part in the press conference noted in his turn that Credit Agricole Group is proud to have contributed to the development of the country's economy as the first leasing company co-founder in Armenia.
