The assortment of goods available in STAR trade chain has considerably been “depleted” which gave rise to various rumors. Mediamax turned to the Executive Director of STAR trade chain Theodora Ticherich to explain the situation and received the following answer:

"STAR trade chain is experiencing some problems with former obligations. The current shareholder purchased the company already with debts in 2011 and realized huge work to settle the company's operation.

As of now, we are clearing off our expired obligations and at the same time, the commercial department is holding new talks on commercial issues. Further cooperation with each supplier is very important and many of our partners understand it.

As for our strategy, we should note that the chain will continue its activity in the retail trade sector as it's one of the most important locomotives of economy in each country. Our goal is to set up stable business for our shareholders in 2013 and 2014".
