Yerevan/Mediamax/. The Central Bank (CB) of Armenia has established that without any argumentation “Zolotaya Korona” foreign payment system has frequently failed to provide the possibility of using the system in some branches of the banks operating in the Republic of Armenia.

The Central Bank informed the operator about the situation and urged to take measures, noting that otherwise the regulator will make a decision to ban the Armenian banks’ participation in “Zolotaya Korona” payment system.

However, some territorial branches of Armenian banks are still deprived of the possibility to make transfers via “Zolotaya Korona” system. Taking this into consideration, the Board of the Central Bank of Armenia decided to recognize as invalid the permission on participation in “Zolotaya Korona” payment system.

In early September, the CB Board decided to recognize as invalid the decisions on participation in “Migom” payment system.
