Yerevan/Mediamax/. Today, Areximbank-Gazprombank Group opened a new head office on the Northern Avenue in the center of Yerevan.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Director General of the bank Armen Khandkaryan said that with the assistance of its shareholder- the Russian Gazprombank, the bank has leading positions in terms of growth of core indicators, and is one of the largest Armenian banks by several indices.

“With a credit portfolio of over AMD 90bln and assets of about AMD 116bln, serving over 85 thousand clients, our bank will now offer its clients a new level of services in the new office. We want to be the best bank on the market both by the number of services and their quality,” said Armen Khandkaryan.

Deputy Chairman of Gazprombank Board, chairman of Areximbank Board Nikolay Korenev also attended the opening ceremony and highlighted the significant role of the bank in financing strategic branches of Armenian industry.

“Gazprombank has very serious plans for business development in Armenia. We have already invested overall $185 in Armenia’s economy. We have also other interetsing projects for the future development of the investment business of Gazprombank in the republic,” said Nikolay Korenev.

The new head office has two operating rooms for legal entities and individuals, a separate zone for cash transactions and individual deposit boxes.
