On June 19 theAyb high school students visited Byblos Bank Armenia’s head office and Amiryan branch to get acquainted with the Bank\'s procedures and daily activities, as well as the nuances of banking.This was a reciprocal visit by Ayb students to Byblos Bank. Eleven students with sucess record in courses such as math and economics were selected to participate. After the meeting with the Byblos Bank Armenia\'s CEO Ararat Ghukasyan, the students continued their tour with the Bank\'s employees. During the comprehensive program the students learnt about the Bank\'s services and products, employment opportunities and HR recruitment procedures, the structure of the branches, departments and their functions. According to Special Education Programs deputy director at Ayb, Viguen Shirvanyan, the cooperation with Byblos Bank has a tendency to expand. “Meeting with the CEO and the head staff to receive first-hand information is very important for the students to choose their future career. Students may wish to change or pursue careers in banking after being encouraged by this meeting”,- said Mr. Shirvanyan. “Byblos Bank Armenia supports the development of education in Armenia both with the provision of financial and human resources as well as by sharing knowledge. We hope, that this initiative with Ayb high school was an opportunity for the students to be more informed and prepared to make the right decision in choosing their profession”,- mentioned Mr. Ghukasyan.
