The main expectation from the government’s activity in 2012 is a 7% economic growth.Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said this at the first session of the new government today, Mediamax reports.The President said that the economic growth is not an end in itself. “Our goal is to lay strong foundations for the economic growth and reduce poverty,” he noted.According to him, the government should pay consistent attention to agriculture and support the farmers.Serzh Sargsyan urged the government members to get ready for a “tough but honorable work.”“To win the election doesn’t mean to rest on laurels.
