Volume of investments of Black Sea Trade and Development Bank made EUR 15mln from the early 2011.Chairman of the BSTDB Andrey Kondakov said today that the banks still adheres to its strategy to double the volume of investments in Armenia within coming 4 years reaching it up to EUR 100mln, Mediamax reports.According to the head of BSTDB, the bank granted 2 credits to the Armenian banks (Armeconombank and ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank) for financing small and medium enterprise in 2011 as well as invested funds in the capital of the fund which will start operating in Armenia in the nearest future investing in the capital of prospective enterprises.“Areas of investing are a real sector and financial institutes. You have good banks with which we are interested to work”, noted Andrey Kondakov adding that the bank is ready to consider the investment proposals in the agriculture sphere in Armenia. Andrey Kondakov informed that the annual meeting and the BSTDB business forum will be held in Yerevan in June 2012.“That’s the main reason for our delegation’s visit to Armenia. We are discussing the program for the annual meeting and business forum with the Armenian authorities and the opportunities to show Armenia as a country with interesting investment opportunities”, said the head of the bank.
