Yerevan/Mediamax/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Edward Nalbandyan said today that the government’s measures inspire hope that the talks with the European Union on the creation of a free trade area may start in the nearest future.

“The effective realization of provisions related to a free trade area will enable us to make the Armenian economy more competitive by means of improvement of relevant bodies, which play a role both in legislative and economic spheres,” Edward Nalbandyan said at the Conference “Eastern Partnership: National and European Dynamics”.

“The works for the facilitation of visa regime with the EU play a significant role in our cooperation agenda. The  encouragement of human communication with EU member states will create good preconditions for the development of deep partnership relations in various spheres- business, communication between students, youth, culture and science,” Armenian FM said.

The Conference is organized by the International Human Development Center.
