Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said that the “monetary credit policy cannot be an end in itself from the point of view of stability provision.”The PM said this in the interview published in today’s “Expert” magazine, Mediamax reports.“We must have a clear industrial policy. As a result, we have formulated a new doctrine of country’s economic development. Now we’ll have an export-oriented industrial policy. We have been elaborating it for a year and are going to start its public discussion in the days to come. The document includes the mechanisms, describes the branch chain starting from the raw materials to the realization of the output, considers the prospective markets, enumerates the enterprises having an export potential. First of all, it will be the food industry- we have all the necessary agricultural raw materials. Besides, it’s about instrument engineering where we have definite projects, the IT-sector which has grown by 17% even in conditions of the crisis. To monitor these projects we are going to set up special councils involving governmental officials and representatives of the private sector,” said Tigran Sargsyan. Tweet Views 4667
