Yerevan /Mediamax/. In August 2011, foreign trade turnover of Armenia made USD 513.1mln or AMD 188.3bln having increased by 25.1% against the same period of 2010.

The export volume increased by 30.6% in August making AMD 43.1 bln or USD 117.3mln in the accounting period, Mediamax was informed in the Armenian National Statistical Service. As of August, the import grew by 23.5% against the same period of 2010 having made AMD145.2bln or USD 395.8mln.

The foreign trade turnover deficit made AMD 102.1bln or USD 278.5mln as of August 2011.
