Yerevan/Mediamax/. Today, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree on the coordination of measures for increasing the efficiency of state administration of the economic activity and establishment of a Council on Legal Acts Reforms regulating the economic sphere.

The Council has been set up to eliminate provisions hampering the development of the business environment and market economy, to improve and simplify services provided by the state, improve normative acts in the given sphere, as well as to work out proposals for reducing economically ineffective, expensive and improper mechanisms.

Upon the presidential decree, the staff of the Council and the list of spheres included into the process of reforms have been also approved. Armenian Prime Minister has been appointed the chairman of the Council.

The government of Armenia has been instructed to approve the staff of the Council within a month as well as the conception for the improvement of the system of regulation of legal acts, regulating the sphere.
