Yerevan/Mediamax/.The Armenian Central Bank and Areximbank-Gazprombank Group signed a contract on the bank’s participation in the World Bank’s (WB) program for small and medium enterprise crediting.

“Areximbank-Gazprombank Group considers small and medium enterprise development to be one of the prospective areas of its activity. The bank has recently increased the volume of small and medium enterprise crediting and has been included into the list of the top 3 small and medium enterprise crediting leaders on the CB refinancing program as of 2010”, the bank’s press service reported.

As of the first half of 2011, Areximbank-Gazprombank Group registered 30 % growth in the credit portfolio bringing it up to AMD 63bln. The bank’s total assets increased by over 20 % as of the first half-year having made AMD 80.5bln.
