Yerevan /Mediamax/.As a result of an official investigation carried out on behest of the Armenian Prime Minister, some tax inspectors of Armenian State Revenue Committee were punished.

Deputy Head of Armenian State Revenue Committee Armen Alaverdyan said this at today’s session of the government, Mediamax reports.

According to him, “Aravot “daily newspaper published an article about disreputable behavior of tax inspectors and based on it an investigation was carried out. As a result, those responsible were prosecuted.

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan noted that “when there are facts complying with the reality in publications the authorities have to take up measures and punish those responsible”.
