Yerevan/Mediamax/. Former Prime Minister, representative of the Armenian National Congress (ANC), Hrant Bagratyan, stated today that Armenia will be among the aggrieved countries in case the U.S. announces default.

Hrant Bagratyan stated that “in case of default the U.S. dollar will devaluate, and almost half of Armenia’s external reserves are kept in U.S. dollars,” Mediamax reports.

The former Prime Minister also noted that despite the recent encouraging indices of economic growth, “the growth rates in Armena significantly yield to average global and regional indices”.
