Yerevan/Mediamax/. The first session of the joint task force, set up by decrees of the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Armenia and Chairman of the Board of “INTER RAO UES” OJCS, was held in Yerevan.

The joint task force should elaborate a draft cooperation agreement in the sphere of development of Armenia’s electrical complex of Armenia, the press service of “Electric Networks of Armenia” CJSC told Mediamax.

The agreement assumed to cover the whole complex of relations in the long-term perspective and facilitate the development of the electrical sector, including “ENA” CJSC.

Armenian Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Iosif Isayan highlighted the importance of elaboration of a strategic plan for the development of Armenia’s energy system and work over relations of its participants with the emphasis on “ENA” CJSC. This is conditioned by the role of the company in country’s tariff making system.

The head of the task force from “INTER RAO UES” OJSC, Andrei Zavrazhanov, presented the results of consolidation of assets, including the acquisition of a new asset in Armenia (“RazTPP” OJSC) as well as possible directions of cooperation.

Director General of “Electric Networks of Armenia” CJSC Yevgeniy Bibin noted that the complex solution of development issues and the improvement of the legislative base in terms of administrative reforms will allow the company to ensure absolute fulfillment of commitments to consumers.
