Yerevan/Mediamax/. NKR GDP made AMD 23bln 600mln in the first quarter of 2011.

Mediamax was informed in NKR National Statistical Service that GDP growth made 9.7%, as compared to 7.4% in the first quarter of 2010.

Spheres of production of goods and services, the growth of which made 5% and 14.3% respectively, had positive effects on GDP growth.  

In the first three months of 2011, the industrial output in the country made AMD 11.5bln, and sales – AMD 11.8bln. Mining industry occupies 47% in the structure of industrial production, the processing one – 25.7%, production and distribution of electric power, gas and water – 29%.

In the first quarter, 2011, construction works at the volume of almost AMD 6bln have been carried out in NKR, which is 11% more, as compared to the same period of last year.
