Yerevan/Mediamax/. VTB Bank (Armenia) awarded the 100 thousandth holder of Visa card, issued by the bank.

Mediamax reports that Deputy CEO of the bank Mher Grigoryan awarded the holder of the jubilee card with a certificate for AMD 500 thousand in Yerevan today.

Mher Grigoryan informed that VTB Bank (Armenia) leads in Armenian banking system as to the number of issued Visa cards, noting that the plastic cards are a strategic business direction for the bank.

According to his assessment, the cashless trade makes about 10% of the aggregate trade turnover in Armenian market today, and this fact evidences its great potential.

This year the bank intends to increase the number of issued cards by 30%.
