Yerevan/Mediamax/. 11 banks entered the list of top 100 taxpayers of Armenia following the results of the first quarter, 2011.

Mediamax reports that the largest taxpayer in the banking sector of Armenia in January-March, 2011, is “VTB Bank (Armenia)”, which occupied the 30th place in the list. The total sum of taxes, paid by the bank, made AMD 576mln 880.4 thousand.

The 36th place went to ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK, which paid AMD 484mln 436 thousand. The 48th line belongs to Ardshininvestbank (AMD 347mln 109.7 thousand), the 53rd place is occupied by Unibank (AMD 316mln 924.3 thousand), and the 56th place belongs to HSBC Bank Armenia (AMD 302mln 225 thousand).

“Armbusinessbank” (58th line, AMD 298mln 020.9 thousand), Ameriabank (60th line, AMD 297mln 256.1 thousand), Anelik Bank (73rd line, AMD 250mln 672.9 thousand), Converse Bank (79th line, AMD 236mln 717.5 thousands), Mellat Bank (94th line, AMD 192mln 602.3 thousand) and Armeconombank (96th line, AMD 185mln 081.4 thousand) also entered the list.

As to the sum of social payments, ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK leads in the financial sector of Armenia (11th line, AMD 153mln 073.2 thousand). The 14th line belongs to Ardshininvestbank (AMD 115mln 088.5 thousand), and the 16th line went to “VTB Bank (Armenia)” (AMD 104mln 050 thousand).
