Yerevan/Mediamax/. A number of businessmen, who made their contributions to development of the country’s economy, were awarded with medals of Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian.

Mediamax was informed in the press service of the Armenian government that the Prime Minister’s medals were presented to the Directors of “Astra”, “Saranist”, “Liqvor”, “Armenmotor”, “Arpimed”, “Ararat Food Factory” and “Armenia Molybdenum Production” Companies.

“Heads of companies, who will receive these highest awards today, have stood out by the fact that over the past three years they have managed to organize the work of their companies, deal with difficulties, realize innovative programs and cooperate with the government”, Tigran Sargsian said.

In his turn, Chairman of the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia Arsen Kazaryan noted that all the above-mentioned companies have initiated new, promising export-oriented programs.

Referring to the issue of company selection, the Prime Minister said: “We analyzed the situation in all companies, their indices and the investments over the past three years and we can say that we have received quite encouraging results. The measures, carried out in these companies, inspire us with hope that in the nearest future we will register improvement of economic indices. At that, export volumes in the chosen companies really grow quite fast”.
