Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian commented today at the session of the government on the activity of the State Real Estate Cadastre Committee. Mediamax reports that the Prime Minister noted that annually at least 300 thousand people make deals on real estate and use the services of the cadastre. “Together with the Chairman of the Committee we studied in detail all the services, provided by the cadastre, and established that the situation is different in different regions. There are regions, where the situation is at a proper level – reforms were perceived correctly and the new approaches were introduced fast. However there are also places, where we are not content with the quality of services”, Tigran Sargsian said. According to him, a number of cadastre services were considered; in particular, registration of purchase and sale of real estate, provision of single reference, measurement service, etc. “The research shows that both the cadastre and the notary offices bear substantial responsibility for purchase and sale. The international practice shows that there is nothing like that in the world. Either one or the other establishment should be in charge of it. And here, according to the law, both structures are authorized to be in charge, and in reality this factor increases the cost of the process for the citizens”, Prime Minister said. Tweet Views 6004
