Yerevan/Mediamax/. UNISTREAM system of money transfers started the issue of unified customer cards (UCC) in Armenia.

Mediamax was informed in “Unistream” OJSC that from now on customers can receive cards in all points of the system’s partner – “Unibank” CJSC.

UCC gives the chance to minimize as much as possible the time of sending means: the customer needs to only present the card to the operation specialist and without any work with paper carriers, the transfer will be realized in seconds. The card opens up the opportunity of its use in bonus campaigns and other auxiliary projects.

By the launch of the card issue, 80% of the transfers to Armenia were already being realized with the use of UCC, issued in Russia.

President of UNISTREAM system Suren Hayriyan stressed that Armenia is one of the most prospective markets in CIS. The turnover of the system in Armenia has increased in 2010 up to USD 600mln.

“We hope that development of UCC project in Armenia will give a serious impulse to the system development, and we intend to intensify our work for further promotion of the unified customer card here”, Hayriyan stated.
