Yerevan/Mediamax/. Preferential program of pledge-free crediting for students will be presented to the consideration of the Armenian government.

Deputy Minister of Science and Education of Armenia Karine Harutyunyan stated in an interview to Mediamax that the program provides for issue of long-term student credits at low interest rates.

According to her, it also provides that the credit repayment will start only a year after completion of higher education, with the start of the work activity.

“Today we discuss variants of providing guarantees on credit repayment, since initially we rule out the option of issuing credits under pledge. Credits will be provided, taking into account the grades and the social situation of the students. In February, the program was discussed with interested sides, and in the nearest future it will be considered by the Armenian government”, Karine Harutyunyan stated in an interview to Mediamax.
