Yerevan/Mediamax/. According to the recent data, over 1000 pensioners submitted applications to receive their pensions in banks, Head of Pension Security Department of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia Smbat Sahiyan informed in Yerevan today.

Mediamax reports that Smbat Sahiyan stated that although the service of receiving pensions in commercial banks is a novelty, nevertheless, healthy competition in the banking sector has led to dynamic growth in the number of pension age customers.

“I am sure that the number of pensioners, who receive pension in banks, will continue increasing with high speeds”, Smbat Sahiyan stated.
