Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian President gave out an order “to do everything possible” for the tariffs of energy carriers in the country not to change, Minister of Energy Armen Movsisyan stated today.

Mediamax reports that, answering the questions of journalists after the session of the government today, Armen Movsisyan stated that Armenia carries out negotiations with Russian on preserving tariffs for Russian gas at the previous level.

According to the Minister, negotiations are in process and their results will become known in late February.

Since April, 2010, Armenia has been purchasing Russian gas at the price of USD 180 for 1 thousand cubic meters.
