Yerevan/Mediamax/. Today, the government of Armenia approved two programs aimed at export stimulation. As Armenian Economy Minister Tigran Davtyan said, the government approved the application of “Spayka” company on granting a three-year delay for VAT payment. According to the Minister, in 2010, “Spayka” finished the first stage of the investment program aimed at the creation of necessary infrastructures for fresh fruit refrigeration and storage, thus creating 207 new workplaces. According to Tigran Davtyan, in 2011 the company will finish the investment program totaling AMD 22.8bln and export about 70 000 tones of agricultural production to CIS and EU countries. The company also plans to increase the number of workplaces, making it 500. Armenian PM Tigran Sargsian noted that the program of “Spayka” company will be a significant stimulus for the development of agriculture and export in Armenia. By another decree, the government satisfied the request of “VKS Armenia” CJSC on using a “temporary import” preferential tax regime for the import of equipment for light industry, totaling 300mln euro.
