Yerevan/Mediamax/. HayPost Trust Management (Trust Manager of Armenian Postal Operator “HayPost”) should present a project for development of the country’s postal system to the Ministry of Transport and Communication within a week.

Armenian Minister of Transport and Communication Manuk Vardanyan stated at a news conference in Yerevan today that introduction of a new model of postal system management in the country is one of the priority directions of the Ministry’s activity in 2011.

According to him, it is not ruled out that if the requirements of the Ministry are not met, Armenian government will consider the possibility of announcing another tender for concessive management of the country’s postal system.

Manuk Vardanyan informed that the by the end of the week, HayPost Trust Management Company should present information on the volumes of investments, terms of development program implementation and the new postal connection services.
