Yerevan/Mediamax/. Head of State Water Economy Committee of Armenia Andranik Andreasyan informed today that no changes for water tariffs are planned for in 2011. Mediamax reports that, speaking at a news conference in Yerevan today, Head of the State Committee stated that the matter concerns both drinking water and irrigation water. The current tariffs for 1 cubic meter of irrigation water makes 11 AMD. “I believe that this tariff will not change in 2012 either”, Andranik Andreasyan stated. The tariff of “Yerevan Jur” company for the capital makes 181 AMD per 1 cubic meter of drinking water, the tariff of “ArmWaterChannel” CJSC for the regions – 80 AMD for one cubic meter of drinking water. In 2010, the volume of investments in Armenian water economy from the part of international donor organizations (World Bank, EBRD, Asian Development Bank) made 25bln AMD. Tweet Views 7112
