Yerevan/Mediamax/. Yerevan office of International Finance Corporation (IFC) held a training session on December 17-18 for employees of Armenian banks on risk management basing on “Basel II” norms. Mediamax was informed in Yerevan office of IFC that Thomas Lubeck, IFC Regional Head, Caucasus, stated that with this training IFC aims to promoting wider implementation of international standards of risk management in Armenian banks. IFC also is distributing 300 copies of a toolkit it developed to provide guidance for establishing asset and liability-management systems. The event took place within the framework of IFC “Armenia Banking Market Development Project”, which is implemented in cooperation with the government of Austria and the Netherlands. Tweet Views 8190
