Yerevan/Mediamax/. 187 credits at the volume of 1.5bln AMD have been provided within the framework of “Affordable Housing for Young Families” program as of today. Mediamax reports that the Head of Financial Markets Development Department of Armenian Ministry of Finance Karen Tamazyan stated today that the average volume of the credit made 8.2mln AMD with the average repayment term of 12.4 years at the interest rate of 10.3%. From allocated means, 131 credits were provided in Yerevan, and the remaining in the marzes. 33 credits at the total sum of 231.4mln AMD are at the stage of consideration. Karen Tamazyan reminded that the Armenian government has made certain changes in the program for the regions, in particular, by increasing the subsidy of the state at interest rates in marzes of up to 4% and reducing the volume of prepayment down to 10%.
