Yerevan/Mediamax/. Yerevan Brandy Company (ArArAt brand) will not sell cognac alcohols without thorough examination of the potential buyer’s reputation and intentions.

Mediamax reports that YBC Executive Director Ara Grigoryan said this in an interview to “Economic News” newspaper.

According to him, “many Ukrainian producers ask Yerevan Brandy Company to sell them alcohols”.

“We have alcohols for sale, but we will not sell even a gram, if we are not sure about where the alcohol will be going and what brand will be made from it. We would not like others, not very famous producers, to speculate with the name of Yerevan Brandy Company, positioning their production as a product, made from YBC reserves. We cannot allow that. This is why we’d better keep our alcohols till better times, or will thoroughly examine the potential buyer’s reputation and intentions”, Ara Grigoryan  stated.
