Project of “DILIJAN International School” will become a “huge investment” into Armenia’s educational system, Minister of Science and Education Armen Ashotyan said today in an interview to Mediamax. Commenting on Mediamax’s request on the decision of “DILIJAN International School” initiators not to suspend the project, Armen Ashotyan stated: “For the first time in the history of Armenian statehood, about USD 100mln of private means are to be invested in education. I hope that this initiative will inspire other entrepreneurs and well-off people to invest big money into education”, Armen Ashotyan stated. According to him, realization of “DILIJAN International School” is an opportunity to introduce best international educational standards in Armenia and make the first steps in the direction of globalizing the general educational system. “I will be glad if the ambitious programs, which the initiators have set themselves, are realized.
