Yerevan/Mediamax/. Armenian government made a decision today, according to which commercial banks will be able to participate in payment of pensions. Mediamax reports that, speaking at the session of the government today, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian stated that within the framework of pension reforms the state offers all commercial banks to realize pension payments. “Each pensioner will be able to choose a bank independently, open an account there and receive pension on their personal bank account”, Armenian Prime Minister stated. He also noted that the government will provide pensioners with free of charge bank card, by which they will also be able to carry out cashless operations. “This innovation will allow the state eliminating the problem of lines in the period of pension payments, which, unfortunately, still exist”, Tigran Sargsian stated.
