Yerevan /Mediamax/. 17 banks and 3credit organizations entered top 300 of largest taxpayers of Armenia as of the first half-year of 2010.

Mediamax reports, “ACBA-Credit Agricole bank”, occupying 18th position in the list, became the largest taxpayer in banking sector of Armenia in January-June 2010. The entire amount of taxes, paid by the bank, made 1bln 677mln 465,1thousand AMD.

“Armbusinessbank” is on the 28th position, paying taxes in the amount of 837mln 227.5thousand AMD. “Ameriabank” occupies 48th position (730mln 721,8thousand AMD), “HSBC” occupies the 50th position (664mln 591,8thousand AMD).

“VTB Bank (Armenia)” (64th position, 547mln 390,7thousand), “Ardshininvestbank” (65th position, 543mln 193,6thousand), “Unibank” (70th position, 518mnl. 287,1thousand), “Converse Bank” (127th position, 280mln 492.3 thousand), “Inecobank” (158th position, 234mln 907,9thousand), “Areximbank– Gazprombank Group” (160th position, 230mln 682,4thousand), “Armeconombank” (171th position, 213mln 510 thousand), “Anelik Bank” (172nd position, 213mln 486 thousand), “Armswissbank” (175th position, 198mln 851,4thousand), “Cascade Bank” (232nd position, 151mln 968thousand), “Armenian Development Bank” (244th position, 145mln 890,2thousand), “ProCredit Bank”(250th position, 143mln. 122.9thousand) and “Ararat bank” (285th position, 129mln. 941,3thousand) also entered the list.

“Aregak” Universal Credit Organization (UCO) occupied 88th position in the list, the total amount of taxes, paid in the first half-year made 394mln 927,1thousand AMD. “Finka” UCO occupies 110th position (318mln 869,7thousand AMD), “ACBA Leasing” UCO occupies 224th position (155mln 741thousand AMD).

“ACBA Credit Agricole Bank” (11th position, 238mln 857,3thousand AMD) also leads as of the sum of social payments in financial sector of Armenia. “VTB Bank (Armenia)” (134mln 505thousand) occupies 25th position, “Ardshininvestbank” is on 26th position (132mln 408,2thousand AMD).
