Yerevan  /Mediamax/. 1079 commercial legal entities and 4883 private entrepreneurs registered in the first half of 2010 in Armenia, and this index exceeds last year’s indices respectively by 2.9% and 12.94%.

Mediamax was informed in the National Statistical Service that in the first half of the year, 3 open and 32 closed joint stock companies were registered in Armenia, as well as 1040 limited liability companies.

Foreign investments are present in 141 commercial legal entities, registered in the first half of the year.

In the accounting period, 281 commercial legal entities and 860 private entrepreneurs were abolished, and this index exceeds last year’s indices by 8.66% and 2.84% respectively.

As of June 1, 2010, 61 620 companies (917 - OJSC, 3211 - CJSC, 42524 LLC) and 79 261 private entrepreneurs are registered in Armenia.
