Yerevan/Mediamax/. Head of Tourism Department of the Ministry of Economy of Armenia Mekhak Apresyan, Executive Director of National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia Pegor Papazian and representatives of Armenian tour agencies participate in an international conference, devoted to development of mountain tourism in the South Caucasus, taking place in Tbilisi.

Mediamax was informed in the Ministry of Economy of Armenia that the conference is taking place at the initiative of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Ministry of Economy and Stable Development of Georgia with participation of Austrian and German specialists.

At the conference, the participants will get familiar with Austria’s and Germany’s experience in the sphere of marketing and management of mountain-tourism centers.

Within the framework of the event, they provide for signing a trilateral agreement between Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia on adopting common standards for mountain tourism development.
